Ukrainian Gems on Loan for the Summer

I copied that title from Eileen's blog because I loved it so much. About a month ago we were told of an opportunity to host orphans from Ukraine for 12 weeks this summer. Since we already had our paperwork going to adopt from Ukraine, we thought this was a wonderful opportunity to get to know some kids from Ukraine and love them for the whole summer. We decided to host a 13 1/2 year old girl and her 8 1/2 year old brother. They were supposed to arrive this weekend, but that has been delayed as their paperwork is waiting for approval to allow them to come to the US. We are preparing bedrooms, learning some basic Ukrainian words and praying that they will be able to come this summer. I will post as soon as we hear anything.
