Left Behind

I recently read this on Alan Pretre's blog, "Someone once said that the hardest part of an adoption is the day that you watch 100 eyes watch you leave." There are many kids' faces that won't leave our minds, the ones left behind who told us how much they long for a family and want to come to America. Especially on our hearts are three kids: Brothers, Vasya (12) and Vitaly (9), who will be available the fall of 2009; and Ashley's best friend, Natasha (13). We are trying to confirm this, but we were told she will be available in the spring of 2009. If anyone wants more information about these three sweet kids, please leave us a comment with your email address. We will only leave their pictures up for a few days to respect the privacy laws of Ukraine. I can't stop thinking about all of the kids we met going to bed each night next to Ashley and Joshua's empty beds, wishing and hoping they will be next. The odds of that happening are extremely bleak.

Just from seeing the picture, I can see how Vasya stole your hearts!

The article in today's paper was great!

Kari - too bad none of them are available now... :(
I'll be praying for you and for the kids to find wonderful homes.
Love,
Natasha
