October Fun

Austin in his Cougar Marching Band attire-isn't he handsome!

We spend a fun day at Elitch's with the Roge's and Houghton families as part of a UOO fundraiser.

Last Thursday we had our first SNOW DAY!!!!

Decorating ghost cakes for Halloween.

Halloween parade

Josh is very lucky. He won this pumpkin at school in a raffle. He has also won a Target gift card and a bicycle bell in school raffles this year.

Muhammad Ali and a medieval princess

Cat woman and a touristHalloween bounty. Ashley rolled around it and said, "I've never had so much candy!"

I can't believe how many people are adopting from Ukraine right now! Please keep praying for everyone. They are in the middle of a swine flu outbreak in Ukraine and taking some pretty drastic measures closing all schools and movie theaters for three weeks. Pray that it won't hold any adoptions up. Bruce DeYoung should be pulling into Kherson in about three hours to finish their adoption of Natasha and Pasha. They are hoping to be home by Thanksgiving.

Jim and Teresa are in western Ukraine and are in the process of adopting a sibling group of three. This is their third trip to Ukraine this year, so pray that they can complete this adoption successfully.

Martin and Victoria's SDA appointment is November 11 to bring home Julia who they hosted this summer. They don't have a blog, but keep them in your prayers.

Richard & Cindy's SDA appointment is November 23. They are trying to bring home one of the UOO campers from this summer!

That's a great photo of Ashley in the candy. Anna said the same thing. "Never had soooo much candy before." She was great at being an American and grouping all the varieties and then grouping them into 10s and counting how much she had!
Missed the parade but thanks for the pics!
