We received an email from our facilitator in Ukraine this week stating that we should be submitted in November or December, so we need to get our updated dossier there ASAP. So I spent a lot of time running around this week, we had our doctor's appointments, my parents picked up certified/apostilled copies of our marriage certificate in Phoenix and overnighted it to us (thanks dad & mom!), home study was updated, picked up more certified copies of our deed, etc., etc., and presented the Colorado Secretary of State with our 53 documents to be apostilled today. Yes, I probably overkilled it by making three copies of our dossier, but we are prepared for anything! So tomorrow I will drive to Denver again, pick up the docs, and another family that is flying to Ukraine on Tuesday morning has graciously agreed to hand deliver them to our facilitator-saving us $100+ in shipping-woo hoo! I guess it is a good thing I haven't found a job yet as that kept me busy this week.
If we are submitted by the end of the year, then people usually travel 2-3 months after their submission date, so we are thinking maybe February/March of 2009 we will be in Ukraine!!!

Ooo...things are feeling like they're moving! This is exciting. We hope to be where you are soon, but we feel SO behind and slow. But it's God's show and His timing, so I had best not complain! :-)
Things are moving along, aren't they?! :) I just found your blog, through someone...can't remember for the life of me without hitting the back button. Anyway...congratulations on how close you're getting to submission. Your appointment will be here before you know it. ;>)
