I have been looking forward to this post for a long time. When you adopt from Ukraine and spend so much time in the country visiting your children's orphanage every day, you get to know many sweet children. We came home with three particular kids on our hearts, Vasya, Vitaly and Natasha.

Twice in Ukraine Ashley asked us if we could adopt Natasha. We said we could not, but we would pray for a family for her.

When we left Ukraine, Natasha called our facilitator every day asking Oksana to find her a family. Oksana told us she has never met a child who wants to be adopted as much as Natasha. We are amazed at the way God has answered our prayers. Michele has been my best friend for over 10 years. Our daughters, Tatum and Abigail, went to kindergarten together and are now starting high school. Over the course of the months since we returned home with Ashley and Joshua, God laid it upon
Bruce & Michele's hearts to adopt from Ukraine and to pursue Natasha. Today their dossier will be submitted to the SDA, and they will hopefully travel to Ukraine in the next few weeks. Please pray for their journey, all of the details, safety for their bio kids while they are in Ukraine, and that nothing would hinder them from bringing Natasha home to Colorado. There is no greater joy than making a difference in the life of a child, no matter what the role! We too celebrated yesterday with a boy adopted from our kids orphanage. It was bitter sweet to see him, and still remember all those still waiting for moms and dads to bring them home! God bless your continued outreach for the orphans!
This is so wonderful to hear. We have a similar situation - my best friend is pursuing the adoption of the very closest friend of my daughter. It is so incredible to see how God works to place children in the families that He has ordained and to see Him answer the cries of these children's hearts. We will pray for Natasha every time we think of her.
