First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for three of our kids. Tatum started high school! It was freshmen only today, so Austin will start his junior year of high school tomorrow. Ashley started 8th grade in a new school. She has been very nervous about the first day. Joshua is in 5th grade. As we watched Joshua smile and wave when he walked into school today, I couldn't help but think about his first day of school six months ago when we had to pull him kicking and screaming from the van. He has progressed so much.

We passed our six month home mark a couple weeks ago. A lot has happened in six months! We have been to Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado Springs and Minnesota. We had a nice, relaxing time in Minnesota visiting Great Grandpa Ray and his wife, Daisy. Uncle Harlan and Karyn took us boating on the Mississipi and St. Croix Rivers for a day. The kids tubed behind the boat for hours.
