Just wanted to send a quick note out to everyone since blogging takes so long. I'll post a longer version later tonight.
I got Josh - he's right here next to me. I picked him up around 9am and took him on the paper chase with me.
He met his new sister and they were all hugs and kisses - OK, just kidding - they were shy and quiet, but I playfully forced them into having a conversation - against the wishes of both kids. Josh was shaking his head "no", and Ashley was rolling her eyes (just like my other daughter likes to do). It was fun, and I think they even enjoyed it a little.
All our paperwork in Kherson has been filed - now we just wait for the passports to show up. They tell me it will likely be Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, which is later than I was hoping (this Friday), but oh well. I just want to get home by the 25th so I can give Tatum a big birthday hug. (And Austin and Kari, of course) I'm pretty sure that's still do-able.
Gotta run. Check back later...

Progress! Your new kids have met (and no one combusted), and Josh is with his daddy! We're cheering you on back home.
Congratulations! Have them join forces in teaching you something like a song in Russian or game they know so the focus is off them working together and on them improving you!
Praying for a speedy passport, however the last family that got theirs from Kherson really did wait a week, even with an expediency fee! Good luck!
Hi Josh! Glad you are with Dad! See you soon in Colorado!
Gosh, what a great name! I had to think all day about what his former name was...Joshua seems to have always been his name now. (I refused to go look at your old posts to find out. So there you have it, Josh and Joshua are forever stuck in my mind now.)
