Half of us are Home!

Austin, Tatum and I (Kari) arrived home safely today. Cindy, Allie and Adam picked us up at the airport and patiently waited for us to get through customs. It felt like a heatwave to land and it was 46 degrees here! Right as we pulled up to our home (it has never looked so good), Michele drove up with dinner. Karla and Ann had stocked us up with groceries and beautiful flowers, and John fixed our internet! Shawna has taken great care of our house and kitties. I just tucked Austin and Tatum into bed. They didn't sleep at all today, so hopefully we will be back on CO time soon. We are so thankful for the many ways all of our family and friends and strangers have prayed for us, helped and encouraged us with our adoptions. Please keep praying for Jim as he still has a long 2-3 weeks ahead of him to complete the legal process and bring the kids home, plus he is trying to get some work done long distance.

Hi Kari,
Glad you are home safely! Sorry we could not make it to the airport to meet you. Jasmine had a orthodontist appointment at 3:30 too. Let me know if you need any help with anything getting back into real life again.
Love,
Aimee

We are happy to hear that you, Austin, and Tatum are home safely! Get lots of good sleep!

Now we will wait patiently for Jim's updates. If you need anything holler!

Jim,

Has Russia turning off the gas supply to Ukraine impacted you yet? Do you have an electric space heater in your place that you can use in case the heat is cut?

Keep warm!
